got my rear Tarman spec Billies back today, full magnesium coil over set up to match fronts set up
Had the barings replaced as they had seen better days
Will be ordering springs this week for them also need to get some new platforms for the fronts
been having a chat with me mate Marco who recomended a few apring ratings for my set up, cheers mate

Discussing plans today for paint - hopefully get welding work on cage and turrets finished first to weeks of August then just to buy the paint needed
Loads of room in the lack up now also as sadly my freind has had to pull out
Having some one paint my green RS black here and if works out wel the F2 will be painted here also

Been working again today with Sam, Cage will be finished tomorrow
also one for Phil Botley - check out my rear bumper mod :biggrin:
hard to see on a pic but ive removed the rear defuser from it - will show off my rera been lol

Thanks for the replies lads
Loads of pics as we had a long day at the lock up - summer day and baby sitter lol
Can you beleive the cage is actualy finished apart from adding odd few bits here and there
also got the car up on all four axle stands now and all running gear removed ready for treating the floor
few randopm pics from the day lol as we tidied up lol
our new sand blaster set up
I dont ring cars honest pmls

done some messin about today with dash boards as Ive got a few to chop up befor I chop the flocked one up lol

work on the front turrits has started
Tim came along with the plasma cutter this afternoon and started on the cossie turrits and also messured and markd up the escort ones ready for cutting
Tim cleaning off turrits
cutting away inner wings
some more chopping in the bay
chooped
only placed on for measuring purposes, will look nothing like this when done lol
more updates soon as the plasma shit it self and needs new tip

One pointer from the above photo though, they are not quite cosworth turrets. very similar if you are trimming the center piece off yours though.

theres 4 or 5 over here still being rallied. mine was a forest car built by gordon spooner. has 6speed xtrac seq gear box,3way proflex and wrc escort breaks n 260 bhp

aye its a good car just needed freshen up cant wait to get it out again had some good results and FUN in her.
its hard to get at the build sometimes u fair know ur way round a car by the looks of it. the wee car is looking mint. what colour r u going for?????? i went gloss black outside and semi matt inside. if u could pm me the details id be over the moon as thats the last 2 things ive to get for the car (that i know off)lol.

was planing on progress this weekend but lads who were gona help out ones got shit come up and others hurt his back so I decided to help a mate out with his new RS so next weekend I hope now bud
