Phil spent the weekend here at mine and completly finished the exterier prep of the car, this was a pic taken saturday morning befor phil had even started but looked good then and a better pic of the rims
also started to cut away the bulk head crap thats only there for the fire walls
also Marco came and dropped off my brand new Billstein inserts for my front set up also have new bodies made
last but not least lol a my new lock up chair pmsl
only to have cage finished now and then off to paint

Collected the fibreglass bonnet the weekend
triel fitted today and fits like a glove!!!
the weight differance is amazing, the metal one is so heavy compared to this
like the workman ship so much I orderd a Carbon Fibre one when I collected this one lol

had a wide arch rolling project before but sold most of the bits and shell of. only have engine left and silly bits. would have loved to finish it but decieded to convert a MK5 to rwd instead

another day spent at the lock up with Sam and he grafted today on fabricating more cage bars into the car
all cut and tack welded in for mock up

another update on the cage progress
rear strut bar added and some more welding started
also Sam went and cut a hole in the bonnet
Looking more and more Maxi now
More pics of whats going to be filling that hole soon

Agree with Twellsie that you need some flanged gussets
That RaceTechologies dash is a nice bit of kit
Spoke to them at Autosport show and they were very helpful, and only up the road in Nottingham Have you got the Data-logger as well ? Was going to run one in the Ka but they hadn't sorted the CAN protocol with the Emerald before I got offered my AiM

No mate not got a Data Logger, how much are they? have all the jacking leads etc for the OMEX ECU System so thinking of getting OMEX600 unless I can find a nice Pectel 2 for cheap
