clarke and several people have convinced me to keep it (plus i dont think i could handle what id get for it in bits without the engine running lol) so prob going to remove engine 2mo and look for further damage, will get it stripped down, properly cleaned through and see what im working with . The manifold was made by zetaboostboy, hw should be able to give you the details you need to know

There really are some devoted lads on this site. Yours and Luca's engines have gone tits up and are being being re-built and Lee's 16i already in primer after the fire yesterday!
Well done lads.

engines kind of apart, i took the head off, all was good i.e cams etc. just need to get it on stand and strip mains, as long as crank is good it should just need gaskets, pump, a dip/flush and new shells and mains along with crank polish

engines out and partially stripped, gearbox is sold. i havn't taken off the mains yet as not on stand but looks just to be a polish on the crank, new bigs and mains thankfully and have block dipped/cleaned and new oil pump (again). ive decided to go 6 speed getrag though so will take alot longer to get it back on road as clutch and flywheel is £800, then need to go hydraulic clutch, cutson shafts with a bit of fabricating work.
ive bought the box and mounts but am waiting for them to arrive. bought st170 pedal box for the hydraulic clutch and going to mod my pedal box etc so at some point may crack on again when i can be bothered. another delay being i bought a bmw with a friend for a track/drift/fun car so spent odd bit of time on that and has now limited my space lol.

the speedlines grip soooo much better being wider and will look good eventually when all graphiced up and done what i want to do body wise, i have a fair bit of work to do on it 1st though. i tried making a start tonight by removing the pedal box so i can make a new one to run hydraulic clutch but then we had some freak rain which flooded the garage so spent all night clearing it lol
