Looks like I'll be coming down your way on Wednesday next week Paul. You could have the box sooner than you thought. You'll have to raid the piggy bank though, my credit terms are crippling lol.

car has now been trailered away to hopefully be finished off ready for chip to map it on the way home, its having stainless boost pipes made, intercooler modified, new dowpipe made and other bits besides, looking forward to finished artical, now has vxr injectors too being as i lost the intergrale ones lol

Not a prob pal. The deal you did me on the wheels and brakes deserves a favour back. I do of course want first refusal on the box back again if you bend another BMW, LOL!

right guys, got the car back today from garage19, some good work done by him, top man! he done some work on the inlet, supplied brackets, welded water injection into boostpipe he made and modded intercooler outlets etc. after getting back from the 140 round trip with trailer i decided to spray the inlet, header tank and throttle cable bracket in crackle black 
. then set about removing the engine with my mate and fitted my straight cut box to it and refitted, heat wrapped the exhaust manifold (well clarke5700 did + good job done lol) and xrt_si then gave me a hand fitting new cv boots and fitting driveshafts and that was the lot for toda, will try get some piccys up soon

well just as i thought everything was going my way for once, i.e engine in, manifold on, wrapped, exhaust done etc etc to notice whilst the exhaust was being done my new box has a bad leak 
and being a 4 speed car origionally the chassis rail is close with a 5 speed meaning engine as to be dropped 
. so engine and box down and box out. tried seperating the casing but can only get it apart an inche so now needs to go for repair and overhaul sadly so unless i put standard box in il probally miss central day. Heres some pics of updates:

new oil pressure and volts gauge with warning etc

wahoooooo, spent the evening up the garage with the spanners out, box stripped, broken bolt drilled out/removed, reverse switch snapped so extracted and new one fitted , aeroquip fitting removed and thread sorted to cure leak and reassembled with all new gaskets. engine should be refitted 2mo evening
gear casing off and def got straight cut gears as told lol

id have to strip it 1st though and time isnt on my side at the mo, can do that another time, its a toy it will be ok lol + you can barely see the box with boost pipes and exhaust etc in lol
