Thanks for all the comments
Time for a small update, got the bumper prepped for primer today ,just leaves the number plate lights to modify so they fit in properly.
Holes filled and filler applied where mudflaps have been.Still to sand filler down.
Sanded down with 180 grit.
Hoping to get it into primer in the next couple of weeks.

Your bumper is great idea. I have the same plan but with narrow cut out for exhaust and towing lug (closer to midle of bumper) and with hole for reg plate in bumper.
PS: Your car is really nice.

Saw this car at the Pod at the weekend, & was totally stunned. The longer you look the more you see. Thats the quality of the mods, they look factory. Unbelivable, if Carlsberg made S2's,

Time for an update ,got the bumper into primer with my new compressor today .
Bumper prepped and degreased.
Number plate lights ready ,all bare plastic was treated with a plasticiser before primer.
Second coat of primer on.
Pulled it out into the sun to bake off better.
Guide coat applied.
Popped in the lights for a quick look.
