Been doing a bit more 2day creating a small lip where the front of the dash meets
Smoothing out around the screen
Last few bits
Test fit
Needs building up slightly
Skimming up the edge
All done round here
The next area of attack

its all about taking your time with filling the longer and more carfully you work, the bettter it will finish out.

Got some more piccys of the dash that i did today ,got a few mins spare so thought i would post em up. Going to do this bit today and finish off the screen area.Scuffed up the plastic so the glue will bond better.
Cut a thick peice of plastic to cover the hole,used super glue with an activator(very strong).
Added fiberglass matting inside to add a bit more strength.
Bonded in the other piece and bonded the white plastic in the front aswell.Also scuffed the face to receive the filler.
Also while i had a mix filled the little bits on the dash.
All smooth now, no holes.
99.9% done

Right been thinking,the dash is deffo going grey flock,in as near shade to the dash is now,but the section that bolts on (around the radio and houses the glovebox)should i have flocked in the same shade of grey or flocked black,wot do you think peeps.
thought i would crack on with the dash the next part i want to modify is the section under the steering column

Here are a few pics ,using a sheet of cardboard i made a template of the shape then transferred this to a thick rigid plastic
This was then cut out and sanded to fit perfectly into the hole.
After test fitting it was bonded into position
The holes at the top will receive fiberglass and then the edges will be filled and sanded .

Right we are nearly done on the dash not much left to do now!!!!
Put some fiberglass in to the holes at the steering colomn.
Let that cure and gave it all a lovely skim of filler.
Rubbed that down and gave another skim, hopfully the last.
Area around colomn
A couple of shots outside ,still to rub down under colomn
All i can say is i am glad that its nearly done ,as its been a lot of hard work.

I finally washed the cossie on christmas eve, the first time for 9 weeks 
looked mint after though!! Not now, been out blatting it come over one day, i'm doing the cambelt on thursday if your'e bored????? i'll be round hayley's mum's!! then i need to put my new hoses and inlet / throttle body on!!
