Right as the weather was crappy today i decided to do a bit on the dash,here are a few pics,thought i would put them on while the 2nd filler coat dries.
Started with the rough shaping out to find me high and low spots
Start to rub down around screen
Starting to take shape
slowly
2nd coat of filler going on,getting a bit more shape this time
Building up around the screen
Must have snowed

Been doing a bit more sanding and filling today,putting the pics on as i go or i will have stacks to do at the end
Gave the dash a sand then applied a dusting of black spray as a guide coat
Sand this with a block any black left will tell you where its got low spots
Sand a bit more
Blow off to remove dust before adding another skim of filler
My best freinds on this project
Third skim of filler applied just letting it go off and will start all over again
a long old process

,if you need any go to your local bodyshop supplier,brown brothers ,movac etc they sell it all in there

Right here is another update as promised . Rubbed down the 3rd skim of filler and applied yet another in the low spots.
Getting there

Smoothing out nicely
A few imperfections to fill ,really getting there now
Should not be long now then i can lose the other bits on the dash i want to modify ,then of to be flocked,spoke with them today said they can do it any shade of grey i want and will mix it for me there and then so i know what it will look like,top service or what,will take about a week to flock when i am ready. will post more up soon
