Update time.
I had some free time today so I was out in the cold finishing my PAS conversion.
Also had a tidy up around the bay.
Some pics of the car now its back home.
Bumper and Inetcooler / Radiator
I hope to get it running soon so I can take it back to the body shop to get the bumper finished.
Inlet / Throttle / Injectors / Pectel T2 Loom
Engine bay
Washer Bottle and Breather system
Jobs left are Loom changes for the new inlet manifold.
Paint the bumper then its finally time for its final map at Grove Garage.
Hope you like the pics

Nice work, but could they not figure another route for the pipe across the manifold? Not knocking it, just thought for their reputation you would think they would see the problem.

The pipe at the top is on the hot side of the charge air. The Temperature of air coming out of a turbo is well over 100c when at full chat say compressing 25+ psi.
Its then going to get cooled by the Intercooler.
Even with heatsoke that pipe is not going to get anyway near 100c. You also have to think of the speed that the air is moving, its not going to have any time to pick up any heat from the pipe.
Thanks Andy. I am well happy with the work.
Jimbo The price for the Washer and Oil breather tank was 300+vat.
The Header and pas tank are from auto specialists.

OK update time. Was nice and sunny this weekend so got cracking on with the car.
Got the car back from the body shop about three weeks ago. Had the bumper changed a bit for a better fit and also some other bits painted. After two weeks resting in a friends garage I pulled it out to get it running.
The battery in the car was not giving a good crank so i had to replace that. Its had two years of little use so that's killed it. After fitting a new battery and plugs it fired up .
Gave it a trip round the block with out a bumper just to check things over. One of the first things was driving it with the PAS conversion. Feels like a totally different car
After the trip round the block I drove it back to my place to work on the bumper.
I have changed to ambers from clear indicators. Got them new from fords for the fresh look as my old ambers looked real old.
I am uploading the images now of the work to the bumper and sealing off the intercooler so I had a nice fit with no gaps.
My next post will be the bumper fitting and some pics after a wash

Next job is the intercooler to bumper seal. I used a spong stip on the sides and top of the cooler and a 1" rubber flap at the bottom.
This is the end result
Its a bit dark you cant see the intercooler.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Would it be a good idea to have a grill of some sort covering the intercooler incase of stones/debris hitting it?
Looks superb, is there going to be a splitter fitted?

This is going to be a wee bit mental methinks!
I'm not 100% sold on the bumper, but it serves a purpose I suppose. I reckon an RS500 style splitter or something would work. Something aggressive to add some meat to the bumper.
Also, I'd ditch the rear lights for standard ones now you've gone back to ambers too I think. Have you considered a wheel change? I think the it needs something aggro on it instead

Hope to get it mapped first week of April ready for central day at the pod.
I think a RS500 Splitter will be wicked. But not number one on my list atm. Going to leave bits like that for after mapping.

Will have to check out your 500 Splitter at the next show Jimbo.
I don't like to copy but that splitter is nice
Just come back from getting tracking done and filling up with some fuel.
Feels nice to drive with the Pas
