I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
not much, just got a load of bits from america, now got to have wishbones and chassis moddified by a friend of mine thats a wizzard with a welder, most of these type of car use sierra running gear but with viper power i thought i'd better go for something stronger, so i went for 2003/4 cobra mustang, they were 400hp from the factory so i think the running gear should take the power, thing is it mounts different to sierra,
also had complete kit car mag down wednesday to take some photos, going to be in octobers issue as a teeser, then a full blown story when its finnshed,
here are some pictures of the bits cobra mustang bits,
the old shaft below is i believe a cosworth one, new shaft about twice the size is cobra mustang.
the rear uprights.
oh yes and i've had the exhausts done.

Not much at the moment m8 exhaust has been done thats about it were waiting for the car to go off and have the chassis modded and all the new bits fitted that would be brakes driveshafts will update you all with pics in about 3 weeks as it should be off for the work on the tuesday after the bank holiday monday so watch this space..............................

a few shots of the front end, and the extra strength i'm having put in, if you look at some of the older pictures you will see its got a lot stronger.
original as it was thrown together to go to a show, on wheels to make moving it easier.
now the front suspension set up properly with in sit camber adjustment, and the big brakes, caliper bracket still to be fabricated.
notice a bit more metal work at the side of the engine
original crap 25mm box been changed for 25x50 along the top rail and a lot thicker as well, mounting at the back changed as well for better strength.

There is more strength in the floor now 2 we not got a photo of that tho we were going to take one today but it was up inthe air as they were working on the rear end setting the diff properly and getting the mount points correct for the suspention arms and hubs

Tell ya what you get the cash together and we can take the lump out ya saphire and dump a v10 in to it lol ( oh it will fit with bulkhead mods and crossmember mods etc etc etc etc pmsl

Total crap really wait till later on this month its hopefully going to be in complete kit car with a proper factual write up and better pics but not the new ones that your seeing here just the same as in ppc as they were taken last month and its only gone in recently

That bloke took everything i said and ignored it wrote what he thought was right and that turned out to be total shit.
Roll on 2 weeks time when complete kit car comes out and we can all enjoy a proper write up by a guy who is genuinly interested in cars.
Oh and have just turned down a place at the donny kit show on complete kit car's stand as its in pieces and john has decided to bugger off to america for his birthday (and get the crown wheel and pinion) lol

Not going to be ready for donny at all mate still got no rear suspention on it and the wheels are not yet here and now its on mustand stud pattern can't really use the granada cossie alloys.
