looks good mate, but come on, just admit your a bufty and be done with it all and get it mint. I think it would be great to see a truely pristine bonus with all mint rs turbo engine components aswell. Gotta be done mate

i was talking to Luke(Turbo Beal) about this last night, and i realy do just want it on the raod as im missing driveing a mk4 turbo like crazy.
So decided it will go on the road and then i will sowly bufty bits up over the winter.

right then, that my fuel sytem now complete, now have Fuel tank, accumulator, final lines and fuel filter bracket Many thanks to Luke(Turbo-beal) for helping me out with parts, hes a top lad

Going to start bolting bits to the car on Saturday and i could do with the following
Fuel accumulator mounting bracket, ECU mounting brackets, the piece that bolts into the end of the fuel pump(female and male as the new pump comes with the wrong fitting) and anything engine /gearbox related. PM me with what you have

cheers mate, will keep an eye on that,
have now also got all my brakes together, callipers and carriers, new discs and pads
and also bolted my fuel pump assembly together tonight. cant wait for the weekend, got so much stuff to get bolted on

This is looking to be a nice project to follow. The base car is quite clean by the looks of it and there's a load of new bits. I cant wait to see it complete. The bonus does better in black I think.

Many thanks to all of you guys for your kind words
have just sorted out an engine and LSD gearbox, off to pick them up on Saturday all being well
no updates im afraid, all ive managed to get done is get the sender etc switched over to my new tank.Weathers been crap, so not been able to get anything done

well, finally its build time 
went and collected a load of bits last night, i now nearly have everything
RS Dials in-they will be the only give away from inside, totally standard bonus interior, even down to haveing the 4 speed knob on the 5 speed box
also picked up a mint parcel shelf so it finally has one
and now the fun bits i got last night.
LSD Gearbox
Turbo lump
gearbox linkage, driveshafts, hubs, Turbo and that bag has every union, clip and odd bolt etc in that i need
After doing the other bit of welding i needed to do(will take pics tomorrow as it was dark when i finished tonight) i made a quick start on building her up.
ECU's in

ive also got my tank mounted and the braided fuel lines run from front to back and all connected was too dark to take any pics though
so next job is to get the engine and box given a quick paint ready for hopefuly going in over bank holiday weekend

oh yea, i been looking at bonus's again lol, theres a blue one on ebay i fancy to have as a run about, but i'd probably end up minting it up anyway lol

managed to get a night away from the missus tonight so thought i would get the fuel system finished. Fuel pump now all mounted, all lines clipped up and secured and everything connected
and how shes looking at the mo-mouh open wide ready for its filling cant wait to get the lump in this weekend

well, spent a few hours on her tonight and got the engine in. Now have a leasurely 3 days to bolt her 99% together.
degreased the engine and box, but havnt painted them, A) Cant be arsed and B) if i painted them i would get carried away
So, turned engine upside down and fitted new sump gasket and then fitted a new timing belt as well
ready to go in
and all bolted in was quite dark by this point
so got tons to be getting on with tomorow, mainly getting that rocker cover sorted out
big update tomorow

last time out my cheapest quote was £2200, 19 with all mods declared on a 1.25, 3points, 1crash and no no-claims. i hate insurance prices.
