Ello mate,
See the problem here is you changed the clutch but didn't skim the flywheel (you haven't said you did?). The plate will judder as you lift off as there will be ridges where the old clutch bit into it and heat spots from slipping on the old one. The slipping in 2nd is because there isn't enough contact for it too grip.
and the matrix will have cracked on one of the pipes when you were fighting with the gearbox.![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
either way skim the flywheel and refit and it should be fine unless the clutch your fitting is fucked.
If you want to get rid I have a Moonstone Saff stg3 on f plate arrive and drive coming in next weekish that we possibly do a deal on if its that bad.

well ive order a new clutch ratchet from Fords so this is last chance salon really-if this doesnt sort things then i may well rid................

refitted new part fitted back up the pedal box and then came the moment of truth-would this sort the problem or would i be back at square one again!!
SORTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bloody thing goes into gear and is up n driving again!!!
progress at last lol at work on sat will get car back up on ramp again as need to sort exhaust and get it sitting properly as its knocking from time to time
you never know i may start to love it again lol

heater matrix went on the car same time as when was having clutch issues so bought a new matrix and thought well as most of dash and interior had to come out be best to sort some sounds for the car.

when i got the car had pair of decent speakers in the dash cant remember what make there were but they sound good,just needed some feel to the sounds so bass box with pair of denon subs and denon amp was installed.Nothing fancy but it does the trick

job done.... baring anymore mishaps next thing to tackle is the suspension as back is too low for my liking and ride is some what harsh at times
