Hi Smits, I used a rover 75 bottom thingy "inlet runners" however I did have to re-stud the manifold face and do a far bit of port blending/weilding.
Once I have pressure checked the standard manifold I will know if I wasted my time!

Done a fair bit of work since those photos, so all the wiring is a lot more tidy!
The lump on the end is where the solonoid that controls the VVT is located.

You are not wrong Euan!
I dont know how anybody is supose to make living out of this "car lark" because as I have repeatatly said suppliers just dont want to know! It is taking 3-5 days to deal with each glitch in their software and thats after they remember to send the bits!

Thinking ahead to the RR day. It would be a damn shame if you werent able to run because of where your exhaust exits.
May be worth sorting out a 90degree bend to attatch to your original exit point. And ensuring that there is a length of pipe to vent the gases towards the rear of the car(its highly probable that there will be some form of tube at AVA) worth checking out though.
As it is your exhaust exit would be very close to where the computer's that control the rr'd would be.
Hope you can sort something out

So found out on friday 18.00 that I needed a new crank sensor waited until monday morning to order one as there were none in local area.
I ordered one from a well knowen suppliers and stressed the urgency! they said they were in stock and would dispatch it straight away.
No sensor on Tuesday
No sensor on Wednesday - so I phoned up, they said it was dispatched on the 27th...... today
What can you do?
Thats almost a month of waiting for the last few bits to turn up! so I can start the car!!!!
Please tell me that I am not alone?
