more progress today 
managed to get the other wing on and the vent cut out:
beginning to look like more of a car now!
then we held the bumper up to see what needed trimming and where:
and we also thought we'd see how the intercooler looked in the bumper!
thats it for now, the next step will be cutting the front crossmember off and making a new, smaller one!

i've been busy on a spending spree! at the shows this month i have bought:
escos airbox
verniers
small end bushes
alloy engine mounts
rs2000 recaros Ł20!!!
a pair of bd14's
arp rod bolts
thats about it!
i'd like to say thanks to Sall motorsport for doing me some awesome deals on some of the smaller bits
i'll get my rod bushes fitted this week and hopefully get the crank checked/ground too

just a small update, by block and flywheel are now faced. the block will soon be off to DS Motorsport for long studding
hopefully i'll be getting a set of 860cc injectors soon, as one of my mates is currently hunting some down for me in the states

slight update, nowt major:
fitted my boot vents and fitted my rear bumper on properly
then took to fitting my front bumper and grille finally
note that the headlights gad to be modded to fit the grille
a bit of good news too, m-sport sent me a picture of the fiesta s1600 hub setup, so now i have some plans for my sliding caliper brackets
thats all for now

coz i sold mine ta ford fair for Ł20 and they look like them.
they havn't got some bits of green paint on them and 1 is burnt to fuck (1 near the engine is pritty fucked)

yep, something like this:
garrett gt3076r (or 3082r, havent decided yet) bd14's, headwork, long studded block, 865cc injectors, somewhere between 7.5 and 8:1 compression, reyland double valve springs.
cant think anymore than that... its too early in the morning.

update time!
i had a thought in the week... i'd fitted my wiring loom that came with the car in a bag... but didn't know if it was any good, or if the looms matched the fusebox! so saturday, we connected all the earths and have it its first 'power up':
woohoo! everything we tried worked just fine!
also on saturday, i magically made my escos centre console...

i also measured up some 355mm discs to see how much caliper clearance i'd have with my stylish xr2i wheels:
thats all for now, hopefully interior will start to go in next week
