I thought perhaps you were surprised I once had hair or something

Yeah a grey bay would be good, but a rattle can of white would do for now, lol

I like clean engines as they are easier to work on and easier to see if you get a leak etc.

This is that one when I was timing the cam in for example, just so nice to work with:

i seen pic's of your hair before, bit mad seeing you with hair

it's not too bad in the engine bay, the clear pic above of the pulley is where i accidently hit it while taking the engine out last year, as i was on my own, will probably sort that as i need to cut a section out to give more clearance for the pulley, the other bad bit is at the rear of the bay where i have a brake fluid leak

For the sake of an afternoon to yank the engine out and another to put it back in, surely its worth it to tidy it all up?

Yeah fair point mate, definately not the sort of thing to start doing now, during the closed season makes far more sense than doing it now, I just meant at some point its worth doing now its such a "finished" car in so many other ways that its worth having a final tidy up

White paint is a nightmare for showing up stuff like that too, like you say motorsport grey is a better option all round really.

gonna be lethal! i take it youve seen the sounds of silence xu10 turbo 205?

When i went on DP engineering i couldnt believe xu10's and j4 engines can take 300+bhp with a decomp plate ( 8:8:1) Well dp's own s16 205 is well over 400whp now on a gt30

Make sure you get some of your in-car video done again. It'll be good to see how well it romps on with low boost.

a low boost lynx on a heavy as fook 1100kg gti6 is capable of high 5's to 60 with a good launch, Also get into mid 13's

so in a 840-880kg(guestimate?) 205 with decent tyres, suspension and brakes will be epic!

took the 205 for an mot today, and to say i was nervous was an understatement
it did seem to cause a little attention at first, well, as soon as the mot tester removed the bonnet ...lol
stayed with the car the whole time as i getting paranoid now
indicators decided to randomly stop working ...DOH, thankfully was was a wiring plug, so will remove that
he found a loose nut on the bottom rose joint... OOOPS,
but it Passed and what a relief,
went to post office and got it taxed
fully road legal now

took the mrs our and she crapped her self....lol so thats was fun
roll on the 23rd now
