well been a while since i did and update, few little changes
took the engine out to change the gearbox back the 1.9 and change clutch
though after i took the clutch off, i found it was brand new, so didnt bother
first of all i sold all my light C5 steelie wheels,
so far i have bought 2 sets of replacements
set 1
set 2
the main reason for the change, is for a slight change of calipers that i'm trying
need to get some decent pads but will use whats in there for now
i have bought a new steering wheel, as i thought the car deserved one , so bought this
also decided that innacurate speedo just doesn't do it, so have decided to ditch the standard clocks and the SPA gauges
and bought a stack dash , got a it for a good price and it's the 8310P so does pretty much everything
oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level, fuel pressure, oddometer and various other features
so i have bought some carbon fibre to mount it, but here is a trial mockup useing cardboard
you think thats enought?
well no..lol
one last update to all that
i have sold the ITB's and DTA ecu bye bye sound
and bought this setup
all hoses and silicone will be going black (awaiting deleivery )
can fit the panel back on to, so it's kinda back to standard
what ya think ?

I used to have a mi16 powered 205 and we went to a max power drag day (all 16v pug's)
There was a lad making inlet manifold's and fitting super charger's to pug's think he had about 350-400bhp (car was a black dimma )
My god it went well and sounded awsome he was doing 3rd gear starts and wiped out an ap racing clutch in a day
Good luck with it it'll sound and go Awsome
Just thought id post as seeing this bring's back so many great memories

Do you think you'll ever go down the high boost route steve? Some impressive figures/performance out of them in 306's, just imagine how spastically fast your 205 would be?

When Spiky said he was going supercharged i had to have the throttle bodies, the induction sound as you know is fooking awesome. Spiky floored it throught the monmouth tunnels comming back from mallory last year and i was sold

Hopefully the new filter box will help yours sound a little less amazing for bedford!
Hope you have fun at Donno

Looking good Spiky, we tried one of those air boxes on a mates car and it dropped the induction by 2 or so db, sadly we were still WAY over for the Javelin rules
Supercharger install looks neat

done a few things with the 205 over the weekend
had the car running briefly friday, which was nice
now just need to put it all back together
sorted the drive shafts,
wishbones
n/s Brakes plumbed in and bolt up
o/s brakes bolted up but not plumbed in
intercooler and rad brackets made up
so here are some pics
had some alloy pipe welded
but wasnt happy with it (after i had painted it ...DOH!)
so have made up a new pipe which is in the pics below
the bend on the left hand side, gets sucked in when the engine is running, have two bends and didnt realise the one i been using is the softer of the two, so will cut that to use and put some reinforcement inside. i think once the car is road legal i will take it to a fabricators and get a proper pipe made once and for all
but at least it's starting to look like a car again now
some more pics
still a few things left to do, but light is getting pretty bright at the end of the tunnel now
