thank you! appreciate it! not far off now! lee, what sort of an angle should it be?? wll be using a bottle heater aswel - so more pressure, will it still need to be at an angle? if so thats the idea fuc*ed lol

yes home made my bro did it for me. nice welding eh!
Yes it still has to be at an angle. Tap to the highest point. Something to do with the gas changing state to a liquid at the bottom of the bottle IIRC.

It also has to have the outlet facing down as thats where the dip tube is in line with.

And to be really picky.. the bottle should have the tap facing forwards so when you accelerate the liquid goes to the bottom of the bottle and not up the side.

shaped (bent! lol) the dipstick tube to clear the breather and made a fresh bracket painted everythin and bolted to the hose clip sounds dodgy but will be fine

bought an adapter for my oil pressure sender to put inline of the oil feed line for turbo as it wont fit streight into the block cos of the breather but had to use adapters and i forgot about the oil pressure switch for light. and looked so messy so decided to make one to fit both and to look much better. may polish it.

just need to tap the ends and the correct thread for the switch, cant find them anywhere!

got a load done today.
sump arrived from mike r, whoever mike uses charged Ł40 to sand blast it and an extra Ł50 to drill some holes and weld the threaded bosses on! didnt think it would of cost that much would of got it done myself lol.not his fault anyway very good service from him.
got everything painted & built up on trolley
note the freshly painted floor and walls ready for the build up lol even got a heater and 'art work' on the wall

started makeing the hoses for the breather aswel if you can see. bit of a twat cutting it as the angle grinders at work so i used a hack saw!

box and diff, everything on etc just waiting for an exchange rack then i cant go any further with it really until my manifold turns up, promised this week

got a new spigot bearing to go in

well got the twat of a clutch sorted! when i put the box on it was only for picture purpose
it was sat 10mm off the box (another miss measure) lol so i had to further modify the slave cylinder base. some pics standard part welded up and 3 holes tapped for the tilton slave and the end cut off

turned the middle shim up a further 10mm and that was enough. fitted new o rings in the slave at the same time so i know it will be fine

at last the manifolds arrived from norway. just need to cut the flange off for external wastegate and bolt the tial one on and weld a bung in for egt sensor then take it with front pipe to get ceramic coated. gives you so much more room from the head than 2wd manifold or even 4x4 so im happy. placed a t35 on just for picture purposes!!

and one of the minker roll bar/compression strut setup. just need to get new rose joints for them
