coils arrived today. i cant make my mind up wether to paint the turbo filter or just leave it blue??? will get the hoses made up tomo.

all the stuff came for the loom aswel so started makeing that.i like the pectel braided style ones but really like mike raindirds loom made in heat shrink still all labeled up so thats the way im going.
started by sorting the wires out theres that many inputs/outputs and things ive had to add is quite a head fuck!! twisted all them together with a drill to keep them neat before getting right lengths and finishing off with labels and plugs etc
4 x relays

1 for fuel pump, injectors
1 for nos on/off
1 for coils, iscv, boost solonoid, speed sensor
1 for water injection pump
my head hurts

done some more on the loom today. offered it all up next to the engine n got it all measured up. heat shrank it all and used the adhesive stuff in the joints. takes alot longer than youd think! alot harder to use than the braided stuff anyway i think!

got a proper dymo labeller with heat shrink. using white rather than the normal yellow. hope it looks ok! ryan uses clear heat shrink over the top aswel but i think it will be ok if i look after it. can always de pin and add at a later date anyway

will hopefully get the plugs on tomo morning if i have time and check everythings ok, hook it up to engine, power up and make sure everythings a ok! if only i could start it!lol not lkong now . . . .

Mark,

I'd heat shrink it now mate. Those sticky labels won't last that long.

Thats fair enough Mark. Just thought it was a label printer. Did you get that from RS Components?

I'd probably still put clear heat shrink on it but that's just me!

well looms finished. double checked it all this morning then got it hooked up to a battery + lap top. to say im happy is an understatement its a proper good bit of kit! although i programmed all the inputs and outputs that im using then the batt went flat on my lap top before i saved it so had to do that again!

Might have to seek your help when it comes to refitting my "other" car loom. Focus RS engine loom, attatched to a MK6 Fiesta full car loom, all sat in a box
