Default My 3dr resto thread

Well finally ive made a start, had the car since 99 and despite spending
over £40,000 on her, the bodywork etc has never seen paint or panels.

So she having a complete topside & underside paint job, all running gear
been blasted & painted, redesigned interior with new seats, plus another
engine and slightly different spec.

Aint going rush this and hoping to have it completed by 2008

Sat in her new home for the next few months

The strip begins.....

My mint floor pan, not one sight of rust, not bad for 20 years

Interior stripped, Cheers stretch

First van load

The garage is the reason ive been waiting so long to start it, waiting for bloody builders to finish it

I know the car was pretty mint before i started, there aint many 3drs
left with original paint, panels etc that are used properly but there a few
marks on it now and as im changing engine etc i thought i just aswell
go right through it.

Like stretch said if i wanted to i could have it done by spring next year
but i want a break from car scene for a year so no rush

Cheers for comments guys and i keep pics coming
