Cheers Ronnie, you got yours running again yet?
There is work being done mate just don't take pics of it all.
Today got the drive shafts back together and fitted the the rear diff, just need some wheel bearings and the hubs will go back on too.
Also got the pipes fitted back to the steering rack but didn't take any pics.
Thanks Paul, can't wait to get it in the paint shop then can get onto final assembly.

Few pics of the work from yesterday
Still to paint the steering rack arms
Start on tidying the wiring
And today was spent getting the brake lines as straight as i could and painting them to tidy them up a little, not that they will really be seem but seemed a good idea at the time, lol
Tomorrow should see the brake pipes and 4wd master cylinder fitted hopefully

I will be fitting braid fuel lines dude, this is just brake lines so far.
I want to get the car off to the paint shop pretty much as soon as it is rolling again so have left the fuel system for the time being as its £200 for the lines then you got the fittings on top not to mention the fuel pumps etc so will be done on its return....just need more overtime at work to pay for it all, lol
Thanks Rod
I seem to be getting a name for myself just recently with all this bufty work, lol just hope i have the patience to keep it this clean..

Hi mate
Its a heat reflective sheet, i get it from James Listers Motorsport.
Can't remember exact cost but they have a roll that is a metre wide and you buy as long in length as you want, it is also sticky backed so no need to mess about with spray glue.

Thanks guys
Not alot happening recently as have been spending on my daily car to keep that going
I received my rear wheel bearings that i have been waiting on so have got the rear hubs fitted to the beam assembly now.
Also J1mbo is dropping my top mount plates to the anodisers today hopefully so once they are done i can get on with fitting the front suspension.
Also need to pull my finger out and get my rear suspension down to the local soda blasters so they can be cleaned up then painted and then the rear beam/suspension etc can be fitted.
Main issue is doing overtime at work is cutting the time down i can spend on the car but hopefully have some picture updates soon.
Thanks for keeping an interest guys

A little later than i planned but finally another update...
Got the rear beam pretty much done now
Fitted the hubs, along with new wheel bearings
Popped down to see J1mbo and to collect my top mounts saturday so could fit today, come out really nice
Calipers cleaned
Shock built back up and fitted
Cleaned and painted the hub as well
View of shock mounted from the top, think it looks good if i do say so myself
Brakes refitted, also noticed i had had the calipers on the wrong sides there is a arrow on the other side of the calipers, cant believe i never spotted it when i fitted them the first time round
Wheel back on (still need to get wheels refurbed and colour change but will be done at a later date)
Other side shock etc back in
Excuse the dirty marks was cold and i had had enough, lol
Back resting on its own wheels, well on the front anyway, never thought it was going to take 6-7 months
Hopefully get some more done in the week

Thanks mate, was good to get some work done it after not touching it for about a month
Sounds good mate
Glad i got the strut tops done now, was unsure at first but turned out well
Thanks dude,
You sure about the calipers as there is a aroow on the back and i assumed this pointed to the direction of travel of the disk?
Yes mate there is a welded on ring that is threaded
Thanks matey
Thanks mate, no chance of me rushing

Not a great deal done today as weather was too bad so took the opertunity to tidy up the rear shocks.
I did alot of reading about Soda Blasting when i wanted the underside cleaned so popped over to Sutton Soda Blasting today.
http://www.suttonsodablasting.co.uk/index.html
Shocks before..
Getting the spring seats off was a proper nightmare
After blasting..
Only cost £20 so not bad at all, just need to give them a wipedown and then paint tomorrow
