Saff cossie resto YAP Update 16/07/11 NOW TWO WHEEL DRIVE
Been helping our friend Dan on his cossie resto since march ,nearly all back together now ,i thought i would post up some pics to show you what we have been up to.
The start of the strip down
After seeing my bay he wanted me flush his one.
Pleased with how it came out.
After the bay was painted we tackled the underside
More bits painted ,and new mint carpet fitted.
Delocked
Rear arches sorted
C piller trims and handles painted
Rear beam powder coated and ready
A couple of the engine ,going all crackle black,since the picture all the tanks are now crackle.
Also made up a nice little heat sheild for the brake servo.
Car is going on to 17" satin black mo,s

It,s a special mix he has, He sprays everything with WD40 first, then satin black and bingo, it's reacts, drys = Crackle black!

Wow looks great!! Ive just started stripping my engine bay this weekend for the same (ish) treatment. Engine wont be coming out though.. Thats not the plan at the moment anyway

An amazing job your doing there boys cars really looking top and like brand new, Have you replaced all the brake line and if so did you get them from ford and how much where they???

christ, twins (sorry, dont know u personally enough to call u dave lol), your a very talented man at the work u do on cars. shame u dont own a bodyshop looking at your results, i know i would be able to trust u to do stuff right first time for me
