Ok time for an update on this ,Dan has fitted on of mike rainbirds new monitors and it is a very nice piece of kit
Also a new gear knob was fitted
This was all fitted in time for castle coombe where dan was booked on track on the saff
He managed to smash the gearbox to bits after 6 laps, so it was parked up on alans stand for the day as we had traliered rons car there for alan as ron could not make the day ,ron said dan could drive his home if the saff went wrong 
Dans car was loaded on to marks low loader ,for weighing in on monday
After explaining to dan that rusty metal is not worth a lot, and its probably worth fixing,the talk of going two wheel drive popped up ,and with dan having to drive rons car home it would be a good test to see if he liked it .
Dan gave a thumbs up on the way home to 2wd ,so was now on the look out for the parts .
After sourcing the bits,the strip and rebuild commenced ,and was completed on and off over the course of the last week
Also some black hoses were fitted to the bay a while back
First test drives where complted earlier and its smiles all round
