Ok big update on the car ,Dan bit the bullett and went for a roof off phil at carbon delight ,next stage was to pop over and fit it on ,being a full replacement this ment the screens and old roof had to come off ,as it was a big job we would do it over a few days .
Seats were removed as some grinding would be done in time ,first job was to cut the front and back screens out
Then it was a case of finding the spot welds and drilling and chiseling them out .
At this piont Dan was having kittens seeing his pride and joy being opened up like a can of tuna
Slipped a few times
And off
That ended the first day as we was running out of light.
Today saw us popping back over to tidy up the edges abd get the roof bonded on.
Dan had fitted his door cards he got off performance trim ,all looked good lined up against the roof from carbon delight .
Performance trims work not looking so good .(will be getting a call)
Roof now bonded on and clamped down
Also bonded on the gutter trims and added some weight over night
By this time the ruby had arrived, so set up the table in the garage,as all the gear was still out and enjoyed the veiw lol
Screens back in tommrrow and on track at coombe on saturday

Must say how efficient performance trim are when dealing with the issue.

Ok bit more progress on the car ,Dan has fitted his oil cooler and remote filter housing
After getting the roof from carbon delight Dan ordered a bonnet up straight away ,picked this up yesterday ,we asked for the bonnet pin recesses to go nearer the front, as on a saff they sit far back ,so we had to knock up some little brackets to suit .the rear bolt on as normal as phil made a couple of neat little moulds .
Headlamps and indicators now tinted
Next up full carbon boot and spolier

After my off at Brands resulting in two cracked wheels ive purchased some more but not sure on the colour.
Do i leave or go black, what do people reckon.!!
