That's pretty cool and effective. Even better with a full under tray

Definitely needs an undertray to make that work properly IMO.

As lovely as it is, cos of all the lumps and bumps on the bottom, the air will be in a shit state by the time it gets there. Get a flat floor on it

Now you just need a complete under tray to match and build a new exhaust system to blow exhaust gases out over the diffuser.

I was just about to ask the same question ! I've just sorted a flat floor for mine and possibly a diffuser if the rear axle and arb isn't in the way !

the 13 degrees needs to be the the flat part of the defuser the goes from the rear floor to the cut out on the bumper ! so if you have a flat sheet fixed to the rear subframe then the sheet needs to incline to the rear of the car at 13 degrees up to 2mtr in length the downward fins (venturies) are just used to stir the air to aid more force . At 13 dergrees seems to be average number then it will generate optinum down force so take the floor as level then potract a 13 degrees incline at the rear .Flat floor is another good idea BUT if you have a good aero splitter that goes as far as the front floor and the rear deffuser then it will be a massive difference even without the floor

hth guy's

Yep, that's definately my car. Glynn has done a massive amount of work to get the car this low, arches included, but I actually made the current arch extentions myself. It currently running on 9x17's all round, with 245x40x17 Toyo 888's.

Having just seen Ronnie's splitter, I'm now off to the garage to start copying it lol

Nice one Jeff, like your car a lot !

What arches did the last shell have, I think I was up at glynns when he was doing that shell, didn't that have normal arch trims but just fitted a lot higher ?

Yep, we just extended a standard arch to make the first version. The one in the picture is actually version 3 which I made myself, and version 4 is currently in progress as we speak - its basically the same as what's on the car now, just with much more internal clearance so we should be able to run 18's if necessary.

Rich, I'll get the new ones finished before I make any moulds, but its extremely time consuming so I dont know whether its feasible to start making these up for other cars.

I'll start a separate thread on my car as this is Ronnie's post, and I dont want to detract from it - Ronnie's done some really nice work on his car best we keep it about his motor and not mine ! Sorry Ronnie

Ron, was it the twins that made the base plate for the mirrors? I need a set and happy to pay whoever for them. Can you have a word and see if they will make them.

Some nice work there guys.

Canards and rear diffusers are a mine field of technical info, hope they work as intended. We use photographs and video footage as well as Alans arse to see whats going on, as a result of this we changed from a twin bladed rear wing to single deeper one. We still get the downforce we want but with less drag. We ditched our canards (on the old car) because when coupled to the heavy v6 engine we had they actually caused us to have more understeer.

Cars looking racey. Well done to the team.
