an update for you folks-
Fitted a breather filter to the waterpump lol...does sweet fuck all but looks better than a bit of hose with a bolt in the end...plus I had it lying around lol-
found a set of valve caps lying around too-
now for the exciting thing...car finally has some pai nt on it...whole lot primered plus the engine bay and interior painted and lacquered-
bought some new bling pedals-
clutch fitted-
brake fitted-
problem with a renault 5 is the wierd throttle pedal thats just a bar with a plastic pedal...most people just fit the new pedals squint but thats no good enough for me lol so curved a bloody thick piece of metal to fit and welded it on both sides-
ground it down-
drilled-
painted-
fitted-
all 3-
fitted new plugs and an oil filter too-
cheers

got a bit done tonight
car got delivered yesterday but I was at school then working at night so never got to see it...soooo impressed with the paint its like glass
when I got there tonight-
Then I decided to fit the wheels need a spacer on the fronts as they rub on the coilovers when its slammed...so had to raise the suspension for now...got the back sitting how I want though
the wheels stick out past the arches but the tyres tuck in nicely-
