hey adam it was done by me and my mate he actualy did the spraying his first go too !! we both spent aboiut a month every sat and sun preping it up

no laquer mixed in we just rubbed the piant back and polished up a treat so left the laquer

I hope to do this to mine when i get my compressor and paint spraying kit

Did you use wet'n'dry to rub it down ? what did you use to polish it up ?

i highly recommend once u painted it. to laquer it. it may be shiny now, wait till u stain it with a little oil or grime, u wont get off in a hurry, with laquer it wipes off alot easier and also protects the paint from the heat and grime

was realy expecting to laquer but its come up better than first expected realy so we decided to leave it

looks 10 times better than before so i am happy

Adam it was primered then rubbed back with sand paper (1200) then sprayed up and rubbed back very lightley wiv same (1200) then we used G3 and finally polish to get the shine back up and it looks spot on for our first go

loom is half in now but need a new clutch before bottom end goes back in :S

bet that was a big to strip down and put back together.
remember doing why conversion a one point i never though the car was gonna make it back on the road seemed to go on for ever

yeh its took a while but its over winter nowt much happening so taking it slowly

manifolds are away being ported n polished to match the head then off to powder coaters and polishing shop for a box of bits then things can start going back in.

fitted cylinder head and bolted turbo up tonight













PS rocker cover aint staying its just to keep head clean as car is taking a beating in unit

brandnew rad and 4x4 intercooler.





bumper on but not bolted up







engine bay getting a bit fuller now





just need a good clean up now lol

mate looks well nice but i agree with BODGE.....WHY have you left a rusty panel in there? please tell me there was a good reason!!lol!

other than that looks great and ive sat here for the past hour waiting for the pictures to load!!!
