yer its gonna be a bit of a demo car of auto specialists pro series range so im going to do the rs7's i just bought black to tie in

not other real plans for it just enjoy it. maybe a bit more power

Used to love reading about this car in performance ford. I thought i reconised it a few issues ago. Have you had any problems with the airtec turbo cooler since fitting it? Havent fitted mine yet, still in box!!!! Really like what you have done with the car so far keep it up.

if the lights are nakerd you had nothing to loose, but if your seriously want to black them out try getting some new ones and use a thin coat of tint spray that might reflect better

you could always use hid's to boost the light output

nah no problems with the turbo cooler def runs much cooler than it did tho

the lights were just a nothing to lose situation as i want goin to be using the car an night lol

 

well not a lots happened with the car since December, its being done by a friend and there ain't any real rush all the welding and repair is done just needs to be prepped and painted now

aparently thats the mission for this week fingers crossed, hope to get the rs7's refurbed as soon as but can see them bein painted by can for now lol

 

well still not alot happening pick up a windscreen today got a crak in it so i'll have to buy a new 1

also on the look out for a tailgate mines rotten

was working on the car most of yesterday cut some old alarm wiring out, also located all wiries for my new 3 way immobiliser alarm, sort of rude not to put a modern cat 1 in while the dash is out lol

 

well its been 10 months since the last update nothing had happene a[art from the body shop it was at closing down currently looking for someone else to take it on but am o a limited budget.....watch this space

im totally at a loss this this car now i cant find anyone willing to take it on with my remaining budget of Ł1500, ive been speaking to my boss and he said i should rely put a 1/4 panel on the side with the most gob in it to make it easyer to be painted

no matter where i go everwhere wants Ł2000+

do i just bite the bullet and pay the money
do i reshell into a better painted shell
do i stick it in storage for a while and do it when i'm in a better financial position

at the mo the car only owes me about 1500 but is no way worth that now

i rely dont no what to do with it now. i love this car and rely wanna see it finished

whats the reason it will make better for paint the 1/4 i mean ,an 2000grand to do what work you havent said ,will the twins not paint it ?

prob is dan it wasn't that bad when barry took it on would have made a grate track toy was gonna sell it for 1500 with the damage as it was only cosmetic, the engine and turbo are excellent, newish koni's and it makes 190 at 14psi!

but obviously it had to be stripped and has had the repair so far, now barrys knocked it all on the head there is no "mates rates"

idealy id like to keep it get it done enjoy it and sell further down the line but just out of interest what would you pay?

seriously tho keep it mate if you buy another your only going to have to start all over again sometimes it really is better the devil you know

well the car is on the move to a new unit im goin to do some work myself to get it ready for the painters, pics soon

nah moved it to a lock up and changed the lower arms thats about it waiting on some cash from the bloke that worked on it

unfortunately the filler got wet over winter so will all have to come out, price is goin up an up

no where to do it mate dont have the tools either, if it weren't a metallic id have a go and im not grate at filler work

it'll be goin up for sale as soon as its done cant stand the sight of it any more

 

Gutted man, suppose it doesn't make sense to have this and the high powered 3i really though. Hopefully you'll get a decent return on it when all the works done.

Still need to get my wheels refurnished before I sell them, got a massive crease in the door too where it swung open and hit a tree when I was reversing

well the car has moved yet again last lock up was not secure or big enough the cash is slowly creeping up hopefuly next update will be it goin into a bodyshop

 

its good your keepin at it a lot of folk would have given up by now! keep it up!
