That sounds like the car Ben bought from Performance Ford a good while back. He ran LOTS of boost and a standard intercooler with the Water Injection.

The car was in the mags for a good few months.

I think someone on here owned it for a while [User name Neo something or orther]

That car used to be dave's! <NEO>

we did a bit of work on it but only really to keep it on the road till the metering unit gave up and dave sold it.

It was a quick motor - but it did run high boost!

Wicked to see my old S2 back on the road!

When I had it it was very quick and very reliable...

Keep it up, and keep the F528 flavour alive - black rims all the way!

looks a tad different on those rims to when Ben and Neo had it!

I quite liked it on the standard black rims!

That thing popped the biggest flames I'd ever seen an rs turbo do (without a flamer kit!)

we fitted the flamer kit. IIRC it was a green button rather poorly mounted in the speaker control blank! But the wiring was tidy, put the coil inbetween the inner and out wings and ran the HT lead through rubber blanking plug thats perfect for the job!

if i remember pf did an article on filters and a drilled standard airbox came out on top

might of even been your car
