Gonna have a go at fitting the brake's on the other side today and then gonna have a go at cutting the battery tray out so i got more space to play with Going to be fitting the battery in the boot

Well i managed to get the brake's fitted on the other side so there all done now
Also managed to remove part of the battery tray

***SMALL UPDATE 31/12/06***
As i got a new grinder and a dremal for christmas i thought i would try them out today.
I have finished off removing the battery tray and started removing the seam sealer







The black circle's around the bay are the hole's i am going to be welding up there are a load more that i haevnt marked yet.

why not do something different and have the bonnet open front up like mk3's.
thats a thing i wanted to do when i had my xr2, but then i moved on the the FRST.
reckon i would still do it if i got another mk2 though

There already is a couple of mk2's going round with the bonnents opening up the wrong way

do it mate, have the bonnet open like that it looks the fucking nuts mate
wouldnt mind seeing that in the flesh, if them hindges are home made as such, hat off to him, be it took a while getting it right.
and that is what i was looking forward to doing
