Badboy bonnet..
Really want to do a badboy bonnet on my mk4.. Just wandering how I'd go about it? Weld a metal sheet and then fill it in or use plastic/fibreglass mould?
Or does anyone off here do them? Im from portsmouth so gotta be pretty local

In all seriousness.... You'll need to plates made up to the shape you require..
have them tacked in place, when happy, weld them in stitches so you dont warp the bonnet/plates...
apply filler and just keep smoothing it back untill happy with finish
give it a coat of primer to see if there's any imperfections, If there is, rub back and apply more filler ( You'll only want small skimmings too.. )
then just work on from that

i've got an unfinished one m8
tis a turbo bonnet which i started to badboy- but changed my mind. it has a bolt snapped off in it, and it needs a final skim of filler to finish it.- however it is not vgc overall. would probably need all taking back to metal to be mint. i have some pics of it though
let me know if your intersted, or if you already have a turbo bonnet- maye you'd want to do abit of trading?
