Because the turbo needs loads of air...
and we had problems getting a big filter to fit a buddy of mine suggested to place it the otherway around for fun...
But after we did it we left it like this.. it's actually a very good place to have the filter.. loads of air come in at the front
also because the standard intercooler isn't there anymore

Now fitting OMP Kevlar/Carbon seats covered with black/blue leather
4 point Sabelt seatbelts

Already fitted: Wolf 300 km/u cockpit/gauge set.

Autronic installation postponed , will be fitting greys, 5 bar map to have some more power before fitting autronic.

Update

Radtec RS500 intercooler with 70mm in and 76mm pipe out

(pic stolen from radtec website , they have modified the usual pipes for me to this spec, you will soon find out why )

did 12.718 on the 1/4 mile on Lommel yesterday with the current setup... (greys,exhaust,t34)

(without the radtec because they f**ked up the pipes, in and out swapped in size )

was a very hot day (32 celcius) so only attempted 1 run...

will do a full launch on Landgraaf this weekend, thats a distance I could walk back

btw the other car was a highly tuned Sunny GTI-R (whatever)... quite quick on the first 50 meters or so
