Nice car, and as you allready know, that wiring is a dissaster.

As for the rims, I don't like it too big for a Fiesta, I've got 14, but was thinking of getting myself some 13's, then I figured I want RST brakes, and it won't fit in 13 inch

 

Apparently you can get 283mm discs and RST calipers under a 13" XR2 alloy

Is XR2 turbo a car made by ford from the beginning or isit just a turboconverted XR2?
First time I see a xr2 turbo

 

Never made by ford. A company called turbo technics converted some from new with turbochargers, but this one has just had a CVH turbo fitted by the previous owner (not very well )

Should be all sorted by the end of next week.

 

If it's OFAB then I'd leave it in there rather than buying OFAC.

Is it a 195 or 165 superchip - if it's a 195 then I'd bin it!

M8, it was an XR2i ECU in there....

Speaking to a few decent tuners about proper managment Also just bought a set of 7x13 RS 4spokes for track

 

Well, I've been a busy chap



Remember that? Well, after ALOT of help from people here on PF, namely RYAN, DAVID, VROOM_PISSFLAPS, RUSSELL SMITH, B8 and all the others I've bought stuff off

I've sorted my wiring. Now runs OFAC. And I have OFAB in my spare room incase I get bored.

So, I spent all of today polishing it, ready to go on the XROC stand at the Fast and Modified (yes, I know..... lol) show!


Anyways.


Here's the new pic of the bay. The ECU now lives next to the battery, I have a little box thing for it which is in my spare room.......... I must remember to get my arse into gear!



It seems much happier in there.

The whole bay looks a bit better. I also fitted my old fiter, as the one what was on it was a tad fucked.....



It's not in the best spot but hey, what can you do. Not like it's running much boost the now (4psi ) so ACTs aren't a problem.

I've also tidied up inside. I fitted my new harnesses as the ones in the car when I bought it were fucked. I had a go and getting the rear cage out, but it's properly welded in and NOT coming out........... So, no longer for sale, lol. I'll just have to tint the side windows to keep the local plod off my back

I cleaned all the painwork inside, and got my old steering wheel on. Been on a few of my cars now






Then I went down to the Glasgow Science Centre, managed to get a few pics too before the Security chased me.





All in, I'm happy. I'll post some more pics tomorrow after the Fart and Modded-Man show.

I got my side exit fitted. The old mix of shite is now in the bin.





I can tell you, it's loud..............................

I also tidied up the engine bay. new rocker cover, bolts, put a new cam in and a new cambelt. Gave it a clean and painted the EFi engraving on the top of the inlet red....




And if any CVH owners are looking to make their rocker look a bit more bling, go down to your local motorbike shop. They sell stainless steel allen head bolt kits for 12 quid. A nice bit of kit.



I've used them for everything now
