My new toy. XR2! Updated, More pics 18/08/05
Bought this today! Well chuffed 
Had to wait though, cos the bloke was wanting 1700 for it. He was skint though so after 5 days of waiting I got a phone call saying he'd let it go for what I was offering. Knew he'd do it, as he was advertising it with a sign in the window in a wee village in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't afford auto trader...
Very clean shell, tatty inside though..... All the trim is manky, and the seats need a clean.
The cam and followers also need replacing and it needs a set up.
Luckily the turbo is in good nick
Holds an astounding 7psi!!
The first thing on my list after a rear view mirror (tis missing) is BRAKES!!
All in I'm as happy as a pig in shit

They'll be up tomorrow. I poured oil all over the rocker cover like a tit. It's running a FRST EFi engine with a T3.

Very nice! I used to have a red one of these with series 1 wheels on. Got my eye out for another one for a laugh, definate wolf in sheeps clothing.
get some engine pics up wouldnt mind seeing how its different than my old one, really could have done with battery in the boot as it was cut into the inner wing, was done very well but lack of space.

This isn't doing alot here.........
As you can see the rad can come back a fair bit... Leaving more room for the fan.
I am soooooooooo ashamed of this wiring....
Even though it wasn't me.....
Now all I need to do is find out what Fecking managment it's running, and what the big blue bit that says superchips on the top of the ECU is all about................

Wiring is shit... Works right enough, looks fecking awful.
All getting sorted ASAP, and my ECU will be replaced with OFAC as soona s I get one.
And it's going to stay on pots. It needs to handle, which it won't do on 17's....... Ever......
I might put it on 14s if I feel the need for bigger brakes.
