The result -> sixth place overall. All the stages exept SS 7 in 1-2 seconds range from the winner. On SS7 big mistake, two cones hit and stopped in the middle of the chicane sideways. Lost 20-30 seconds and the rally.

Losses - destroyed the left front strut/hub (I am not sure yet :-( ) and the tire. Damn

Me too. I am going to Germany on 5th of July. No car to go. Won't fix this as I don't have the money for it at the moment, probably the car will stay stationary for over 2 months. I hoped to go on the Ring with ForergneRS :-/


A big shame because I could have made up some time to the 5th and 4th crew on last stage. There were some seconds to be gained there.

Still an excellent result mate Well deserved after all the hard work. Did you find out what has broken yet ? Put a post up someone may have what you need cheap - or better still lend you something so you can get to the ring

 

Still it's only sixth place. Schould be much higher. But I pushed to hard at onemoment and it was costly.. :-(


Most probably it's classic case of wheel hub being worn and going loose over strut and then bending the strut - already had one replaced some time ago. I don't think anybody over here uses Bilstein B6 (yellow) struts so I don't expect much help with that. Wheel hub with bearing or without it will be what I have to get as I think theese are not avalible anymore :-(

And I will need 4 tires as I destroyed completly one of them and they didn't have much life in them either. I don't expect anybody can borrow me tires. So I don't see possibility of fixing it in two weeks I have untill going to Grermany :-/ will have to leave it here :-(

My best wishes in sorting it out mate, would be a shame to see it laid up for a couple of months!

 

I hope for better result next year/event. I will be prepared, I won't be teaching my co-driver his job on fisrst stages, I won't be making so many mistakes and I will know the route. This time I was completly improvising. And it's hard to improvise at 160km/h.
