Default New car, PassionAudi.

Got this on the 1st of march but had no good weather for any pictures or cleaning so today was the day!

Been waiting for this since around August. Colour is nardo grey, guess you could say it left without a top coat lol.

Its a 2.5 litre, straight 5 pot turbo with around 365 bhp Lots of fun and noise! Im yet to use the launch control but to be fair its fast enough without it.

Enough of me now pictures. (I'm crap at taking pictures )

Thanks everyone!

Just love the 7 speed auto box, makes driving fast easy Quiet on the motorways but loud when the exhaust is on Best thing i can say for speed wise is it keeps up with an M3 without either of us pulling away (rolling start).

Yeah the colour is not to everybody's taste but it was just something i fell in love with. Should be called battleship grey Also on the Audi forum its more primer that Audi forgot a top coat on lol.

Yeah its very much like the 80's Quattro for sound.

I did look at other car like the CLA AMG and Focus RS. The AMG had a horrific dash and I'm sure you get the exhaust sound from the speakers too. The Focus i think has a rubbish looking dash too and the outside does not do it for me either... Maybe I'm getting older. Plus the Focus is about a year wait from now.

It has drive select. So when in comfort everything is quite and easy to drive (steering) but when in dynamic it opens up the exhaust, gears the box down ready and stiffens the steering, thats also when i get my pops and bangs! Most the time round town i have it in dynamic Love the sound track!

Google picture.

That's because the colour is still in the paint gun at the audi plant

Apart from that, love it! What a little weapon!

I adore the colour, this nardo stealth grey is in my eyes awesome but very marmite and this thread confirms that!

Was there much wait for the rs3? A mate of mine took an ex demo one last year (well had to beg Audi for it) as he was told there was a massive wait.

I ordered it around September time and got told i had to wait till April this year! Got in a canceled slot though in the end. I was looking at these this time last year but could not get a test drive due to a oil pump i think.

Been told orders today are still around the same wait unless you get a demo one They have all been thrashed, i should know

what options does it have? and do the seats just heat or cooling only curious as the little holes it looks like in the pattern?

The seats are just super sports that i quote "RS super sport seats in fine nappa leather with diamond quilting and RS3 embossing" Its just to look nice and does not cool. The seats are heated though and get bloody hot! My Fiesta ST had heated seats just got just above warm Well the passenger side did as the drivers side never worked

Ive gone for:
Nardo grey
Grey super sport seats / Black head lining
Comfort and sound package (Bang and Olufsen sound system, Cruise control, lighting pack and auto dimming mirrors)
Privacy glass
Non smoking package
Advanced key
Lane assist (Camera that steering you back into lane when you wonder off ) Also with high beam assist that turns the high beam on when no-one is around or at street lights, been very handy to be honest.
Sat Nav
Folding mirrors
Wider tyres at the front with black alloys
Red calipers
High gloss styling package (Gloss back grill and other bits)

Sometimes i wish i had gone for the mag ride and sports exhaust but it is loud enough as is and handles really well. My mate has them both and you can hear him coming miles away (that i didn't want) and I'm not sure the ride is much better over standard.

Very nice and I like the colour, a few manufacturers are doing similar colours to this at the moment, Ford offer the ST Focus in "primer" grey. I think you made the right choice out of the 3 possibilities but to be fair to the Focus RS it's not really a like for like comparison as it's probably about Ł10-Ł12k cheaper but I'd definitely prefer the Audi over the Merc.
Hope you enjoy it and get some more pics up.

I thought that would have been the case, still, sounds like Audi can push them out quicker than ford can. Had the rs on order since October and I've been told I'll be lucky if I see it before June..

You say you can't compare but everyone does! They both have 4WD and almost the same power. I do think we will see a lot of focus's in ditches and round tree etc due to the drift mode Everyone will be thinking they are ken block. Don't get me wrong if i had one id be in the bushes too!

Also the guy in MB wanted me to have a car that week! I wanted to build one since its new and I've never done it before and maybe never will again but all he wanted to do is sell me one thats in stock with some options i don't even want and in colours i hate! Bad customer service there i think. His selling point was "Its fast, look"... putting your foot down from around 20 to 40-60 is not really selling it to me. Oh and he put his nose up at an old sierra

I have been told its 12 months for the Focus, i could put down Ł500 for one and if i don't like it on a test drive i can get the money back, thought the was good since some places hate giving deposits back. IMO its nothing like the last RS for looks.

Ill defo be getting more pictures! when the weather picks up abit!

Bet that sounds good and do love the colour.

Shame my Golf R only got the turbo four pot instead of the five pot!

Sam, i do wash this a lot more than any other car and the van gets the dirty water thrown over it lol.

Yeah its really that 5 pot that i fell in love with! I did think about a S3 (same as a Golf R) but really doesn't have that 5 pot charm. Same with the CLA AMG having the 4 pot and IMO fake exhaust. Im guessing you have a new shape Golf? Got any pictures?

Yeah. Must say I'm not a huge fan of the exhausts on my Golf. I think the previous models with just two looked better from that point of view. Very pretty car otherwise though.
