I'd always fancied one of these and my mate bought one a few years back tuned to 446 bhp and it did go very well!
The only thing that really put me off them though was how unreliable it was!! I was forever under the bonnet of the fucking thing and they ain't the nicest things to work on!! They are nice though.
Yours looks pukka mate! Same colour as my mates one was too!

I wouldn't say they were any more unreliable than any other high performance car.
Yes, they have their issues, but find me a high performance car that doesn't

His one was really bad for reliability!! My Cossie had more power than his and got driven harder and all I ever did was put fuel in mine and check the oil everytime it came out!!
Nearly every week I was under the bonnet fixing something on his! He got sick of it in the end and got rid! Bought a V8 S4 after and sold that on sharpish too!!
It's all luck of the draw with these type of cars though, you either get a good one or you don't.

I agree, there are some proper dogs and money pits out there, as above, the same with any make and model!
I'm not surprised he sold the S4 on quickly, they are proper dull, same as the B7 RS4

Just be aware that the rear legroom is very limited!
We've got a 9 and 11 year old and they both struggled to sit comfortably, where as in the 330d they've got tons of room

Just purchased an Audi S5, I know a V8 wasnt your thing and probably not as practical as you need if you've got kids but what a lvoely drive, lots more fun than my old S4, smooth, quiet etc.. could be worth a looky as they are dropping in price now!
