I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
That cab has got me thinking of an escort cosworth cabriolet that was in a magazine years ago. Could easy be 10 years or more. Was a similar colour with cloth recaro's with the hexagon pattern. Was a lovely looking car. Does it ring a bell with anyone? Just wondering if it was still around. The one above looks great by the way.

i remeber seeing a mk5 cossie cab at an escort cabriolet club meet in essex was owned by an older guy who had built it himself i think was auralis blue and had everything cosworth on it bar the whale tail he also had a mk5 cab cossie but that had a 24v lump he was from the essex kent area

I think it may have been FastFord magazine. This was back when they used to put the claimed 0-60 and top speed in the spec box. I remember a turbo technics sierra that said "0-60 neck snapping" or "top speed warp factor" or something, lol. I may be a bit off, but they definately had some dodgy quotes.
