Default Car cover water damage to paint Help!

Took the cover off the saph to give it a wash and found that the cover i use has done this to the bonnet, parts of the roof and most of the boot! thinking ahh! ill use the T cut colour fast stuff i got some of that with the correct shade of silver then wax it all over.. NO!

its fucked, is there anything i can do apart from a re-spray ? looks like its under the lacquar, when trying to T cut it out doesnt even touch it..

have you left it to warm up for a while?
i found i got this on some cars and those micro blisters too, once they were warm and dry again it would all be fine
microblisters would be too small to see and the fogging of the clear coat would dissappear

Wow that's mad, never seen anything like that before, has it not just marked the lacquer and a machine polish may remove it, just seems hard to see a cover can do that to it.

I work at bentley on paint mate and we deal with water stains like that everyday and alot worse to a point where it raises the paint. Get a heat gun on it.
You wanna get that area as hot as you dare.
Not too hot though, just come away from the panel for 5 mins and go again.
If you were closer I'd sort it.

Can talk you through it via phone if needed. I'm pretty confident that'll be fine if you go steady at it.

outside car covers are the worst thing to use on a car i stopped using mine as the car was always wet under it and things started to rust under the bonnet id never use one again much better to leave it un covered

.

My mate had the same thing a few years ago, took the laquer off the roof, I'd never use an out door cover after that.

Not nice to find
If you need a cover you thought of a outdoor carcoon
not the cheapest or easyest to put on or off
