Not sure on the power, i switch between the race + and dsci map on my stratagem handset.
I don't know what it is about the car, just doesn't excite me. Had much more fun in my 172 Cup.

i know ford were bad at matching the colour of the cars and bumpers on these but i didnt realise how bad it was till looking at the above pictures! especially the silver and orange ones they are miles out!! nice cars tho all the same but if i owned one id have to paint the bumpers

Mine has been RR'd at 269bhp with just Code Red software on it and it isn't boring to me. Might be something to do with the fact this is my first properly fast car and first turbo. But the pull on it is relentless and it is certainly enough to make me grin like a clown when it comes on boost and the 5 pot starts growling. Can't wait to fit my Mongoose and Airtec on it

I never even noticed how far out the front bumper colour is compared to the car on nearly all of the above photos till the comment above! Shocking when you have a close look really

Its because the bumper is plastic & the wing is metal. Its more noticable on certain colours.

Also doent help that parts were painted in different factories with different batches of paint on different surfaces (like thebigmacmoomin just said, metal/plastic)

Mine is ok (black) but you can notice in sun light if you look hard that there seems to be a bit more metallic in the front bumper. Funnily enough, a bloke at my old work painted my rear bumper with panther black and no paint code, no blending, and it was a quick job but it's a perfect match.

Heres mine, standard power, 8X18 Team Dynamics Imola in Graphite with custom offsets, Eibach springs, custom lower grille, matt black stripes, carbon trim on mirrors, door trim, fog light surrounds, centre console. DIY mudflaps, orange stitched steering wheel.

Was there an option of what colour the interior was? All the black ones I have seen have always had part red seats.
Love the orange and nice touch with the stitching.
Matt black OTT's look ace as well as the number plate location.

Thanks Carlos, this colour combo was not an option for some reason but the first owner of mine was an exec in Ford Ireland who requested it. I saw the build sheet on the Ford ETIS site and it states this colour combination. Have this nearly 2 years after a long line of RS's, cossies and ST's and love it !

Having had a mint 3dr and pretty good esc cos before, while this turbo'd 3 door Ford may not be my favourite of the 3 it's definately the best car of the three in my opinion. Same standard power delivered in 3 totally different ways.

Well here are some pics of the new motor. I've had it a week now and absolutely love it! the power and the handling is great and its such a well built car. I've always wanted one and held out til a Electric orange one came about and now I'm in a good position to afford one. The running cost and tax was'nt really a issue due to my astra being a 2.0 TURBO so tax and mpg are the same, the st guzzles a bit more but not much more.
Any way here are some pics.
Plans are
cat back exhaust, remap, airtec gen 3 cooler, air filter of some sort my aim is for something around 300bhp.
also plan on some decals like this which is different from most st's with the usual white stripes.

Not revealing the next project - its not going to be as good as the Focus bit will be a more usable car. I refused to leave the Focus outside the shops and the like as was always trying to keep it in good condition.
New project will allow me to have a practical car with good grip and around 300-320bhp. No issues about leaving it might even be my everyday car.

If done on a budget with second hand parts you can get 300bhp for around a thousand
If new parts are used then around £2k
Stage 4 is where its at - everyone stops at stage 3 normally. The torque is mental at stage 4 with an Airtec plenum
