If it doesn't bog down on a blip it's ok!
They are very nice to set up as it happens, do you have the manual and needle/jet kit? It's all done in logical steps until you get there.

if i blip on the primarys its fine, but if i blip full throttle and open secondary fully straight off if does bog down, but bottom hole closest to carb is full pump isnt it ?

i dont have a needle, jet kit but i will get one soon.

A decent dyno session would sort that out. Bear in mind the ignition curve is bound to be off as well if it hasn't been attended to. I can't see what dizzy you have there, but the MSD one is very nice to work with.

carb is edelbrock weber 1405 2803, ignition is unilite module with manual advance two arms on springs, no vac advance at all.

do you have a dyno when you tune them, may trailor it to you for tune if thats ok.

wheres best to set dizzy as a guide, i have currently adv and ret til it grumbles and set it roughly in the middle just advanced slightly, i have no timing marks at all im gonna have to mark the pulley and make a marker.

thatd be great fella, the ticking in the video from left bank was a loose manifold, got rid of alot of the blip by setting dizzy up at 2500 rpm sweet spot, almost revs clean now from idle to wot instant.,

That's a bit high, around 65/70 psi is about perfect. The spring might have been packed out which would reduce the travel.

still very early days but once i get past the flat spot and nail it secondays fully open it does pull really well, the noise is unbeatable imo

ignition and fuel settings have all been done by me all by ear so far from optimum yet.

The trouble with a nice sounding V8 is you'll waste more fuel blipping the throttle and listening to it than you'll spend driving it! It's irresistable, and in certain circumstances, better than sex.
