Has anybody managed to successfully wrap a 4x4 manifold? I'm curently on attempt 3 of putting on/taking off the wrap as i just cant get it to form neatly around the area where all the runners collect.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or some sort of a top tip, before i pull out the last of my hair! There's no other option for it either, we need to get the manifold well insulated as there is so little room between that and the boost pipes coming from the cold side of the turbo.

I've done mine ok,but went round the turbo aswell,also did it with about 5 separate pieces.

I went to zircotec near Oxford. It is permanent and doesn't break down like heat wrap plus heat wrap can cause hot spots if not fully covered or covered in different thicknesses. It isn't cheap but one manifold would be under £200 I think.

Sussed it this morning, I think I was just lacking in patience a little yesterday lol.
Managed to get around the whole manifold and around the flange onto the exhaust housing, so once I have the turbo blanket that should be any heat problems sorted, just three stripped holes to sort out in the head and it's ready for going back on and a downpipe making

Does go well,when i use it,spends most of the year parked where you see it.
