Default Lydden Hill Rally X pictures
Heres a few pictures of the rally X cars at lydden hill today (12/04/04) Enjoy!

This was a big crash that resulted in the driver needed to be cut out and taken to hospital, we were told that he was going to be ok :

A 2nd crash involving a Yellow XR2 but the driver was un-harmed :

It wasn't his day really, they patched the car up after it sliding about 30 ft on its side and roof, and went out again a for a few heats and then retired with what looked like Engine problems (was a CVH LOL ) :

Nope you are correct, its Pat Doran's RS200. Its had a colour change this year (was in white/green "CAT" colours) now in Red/White. It will Pats last year with the RS200, he will be using the RS Fiesta with cosworth power next year!

Thanks Andy! Wish Speed Channel would cover the Rally X! Just got to see LAST YEAR'S Santa Pod drags. Very cool, but too many American cars running in it.

About 15 years ago, ESPN covered one of the FIA Drag series races, and there were no American cars being run in it. Pro Stock Mercedes, Jags, Alfas, BMWs, and more! Wildest was a big Mercedes funny car that ran low 5.20s, IIRC. First time I'd ever seen a funny car go that fast! Now, I get the same cars as if I were watching NHRA drags on ESPN...
