a mate of mine had afew mods done to his e36 328is so wanted to see what he was pushing bhp wise so afew went along with him to test ours out, i wasnt to optamistic what with the car having 128k on the clock.

a quick session and the result was 192bhp which is about 3bhp more than bmw claim so slightly chuffed now
early 325s were 192bhp - i know as i have one and had mine rolling roaded and it came out at 196bhp 200 lb/ft
You want to get a 325 inlet on there, with some cams and a remap should see 230-240bhp
mine is only a 325ci mate figure was 192.6 bhp not bad for a standard car with high milage bmw state 189bhp for mine but there are other sites that claim alittle more
