hi folks i put up a thread a few weeks ago entitled bizare paint problem. Basicly after drilling whole in roof for ariel the metal flakes contaminated paint work. So i ordered ironx and it is amazing!


Please could someone upload some photo's for me as i only have internet on my phone. I could send them to your mobile or email address. Many thanks luke

I cant mate as im on my phone. I need to send the pictures from my phone to someone's email address so they can upload them as i cant via my phone!

I've used iron X... I found it very good at cleaning the alloys.

Iron x and wolfs are basicly the same,the wolfs is quite a bit cheaper!

Its made my paintwork super clean and shiney. Its looks like a brand new paint job. Not bad for a 20year old car!

Your car sounds like it must have had quite a lot of contamination! people dont realise just how much better a car looks when all fallout removed
Did you apply a sealant or wax after aswell?

No i didnt al but thinking about it i obviously should of. I'l give it a wash and wax next weekend. I was going to ask actually how often can use iron x... I mean does using it to much cause any damage?i was thinking using it twice a year should be good enough?

I have the Wolfs, smells really bad works quite well though but can require a few hits to remove all the iron unless you are supposed to scrub it with something but I just sprayed on and left till it dried then pressure washed off.

Does stink

done a few odd jobs with it it,on a really bad set i just agitated certain areas with a 1inch round brush before rinsing

is this stuff not similar to claybars, etc as they are designed to get the contamination out the paint too?
