I think they changed all the designs for the D3 so you cant buy it with the love hate design. D2's are very cheap in the states at the mo I had to have the design I got as it was the only one on sale. I dont have cash to drop £300 on a helmet but I wanted something that would save my head if I crashed again. Has anyone ridden bulgaria planning a trip for next year for a week I think.

Love that POC helmet is it the flow or the DH? I was gunna buy one but I couldnt find one cheaper than £190 and that was the plain black. Top piece of kit them POC lids though I reckon safest on the market at the moment.
I just found this place today as well some right bargains on there. Same helmet as mine for just £20 more and there only in York. not used them so dont know about the service but the prices are good. The purple and yellow is carbon as well but unfortunatley not in my size.

really cool pics there!!!
Went to FOD yesterday for the first time, its an awesome place really enjoyed riding there. I got 8 runs in before my arm gave up and I had no strength left rode corkscrew ski run and sheepskull . Ski run was my favorite! could def do a couple of days there no problems, They also opened up the new good the bad and the ugly while I was there soem of the features on that were a bit beyond my lvl though.

Which one is it. ? There is a new one with some good size jumps in it at the bottom.
And there is like a mini version of it at the bottom of another course too lol
The rocky but in ski run has always been my favourite bit in fod lol

Yeah it comes off the fire road after the first corkscrew bit, I had a bit of a look at it there is a few decent size drops and some big berms in the middle section then it drops down to the bit you were on about with the road gap at the end. Only saw one lad ride the big drop in the middle and a another lad crash on the road gap at the bottom. Was talking to the lads that built it and they said they are starting a north shore project next.

I'm Finding My Feet Here Now
Hi all ! I to am a bike nut but of the xc variety out every weekend rain or shine and the odd blast after work twice a week , spent a week at coed y Brenin in north Wales back in April .... Loved it .... Not as exotic as some of the places you guys have been but fun all the same . Here's my current steed although looking to upgrade to a specailized camber comp next year should funds allow

Id love to do dh but not brave enough + i like the exploration side of xc , cant beat having to go hunting for good riding rather thqn turning up at a trail center . Aye not bad for the £500 I paid for it , changed a fair few bits already lol , xt rear mech n shifter , mavic 321 rims and hope pro hubs , the usual hope skewers and seat clamp aswel , race face 60mm stem .... I highly recomend shimano cintered brake pads aswel hoping to get a few sessions in on hire bikes whilst in Spain next year ... Fingers crossed lol

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
havent mucked about with bikes for years but looking to have another go. we always used to have gt's and the one to have was the zaskar. not really fussed about f+r suspension but it would be nice. for the same money (£400) id rather an older but better specced bike rather than a newer lesser spec. any ideas? theres an old zaskar on the bay at £350, im tempted. also liked the specialized stuntjumper but even old hard tails are fetching strong money. id be looking at a bit of xc/fr/dh albeit at a steadier pace these days.
