Tis the season. The snow is starting to disappear off the Ski-Hill.
The DH bikes are starting to litter Down Town Fernie.
Might get a lend and do a few runs this year. No heroics as I don't wanna pop a rotator.

It's quality trail, some nice quick jumps after the wooden trail really fast flowing shame my bottle goes. need to invest in some quality knee pads. Using some G-form ones for the elbows.
Here's yesterdays fucked inner tube...
And the 6 week old Conti tyre...
Got my first xc race next sunday at Lee quarry.

Well got my cast off on wednesday hoping to be back on the bike next month bought a leatt today as Im tending to crash a fair bit at the moment lol and although it seems to be a subject that divides opinion think id rather have one than not. Im planning a trip to FOD in august for all you lot that ride there is the uplift the way to go? Whats it like compared to somewhere like cwamcarn, does the weather effect the trail a lot?

FOD is very freeflowing, plenty of track options and deffo get on the uplift, you will do 15 runs in a day easy on the uplift. I am on the uplift at cwmcarn tomorrow and Sunday if anyones going? Come and say hello..

It will be a perfect track for you to get back into it. Yep same starting point - short section at the top which leads across the fire road, choose which trail you want, they are all pretty close together. Try and do the XC final decent aswell as thats fast and gnarly in places.
Its a little churned up, rutted out at the moment. Was up there earlier in the week, it was to warm to push a DH bike uphill.... But an awesome day.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
New frame arrived this week. Built it up from my old frame.
Only upgrades I need now are shifters.
On One 18" 456.
Hope brakes, hubs, headset, seat clamp.
Superstar post and bars
Sram X0 rear mech, Xt front
Rock Shox Sektor Sl forks.
Really impressed with the slack head angle, weight, even flex.
Riding "The Beast" on Monday which is a 38k ride somewhere in wales.

Cracking bikes on this thread I've only recently got into mountain bikes and riding off road and I have a hard tail Orange. I did consider full suspension but for up hill and across country riding I decided against it and bought a hard tail instead.
I've got to say it's addictive and I spend every weekend out in the forests or on the North downs My wife has hardly seen me since I got into this
