i used 60mm mk5 fronts and had the 40mm estate rears turned-in to 70mm, looked cool
this was the standard 40mm
and the 70mm
and the mk5 3i looked wiered i agree, think it was the wheels but came like that to me and i just hacked it around till somthing better came along

another mk5 turbo i had
shortly after i had passed my test i somehow how ended up with 3 at one point lol
another 3i i bought for spares
rs2000 i bought very cheap purely to break so i could keep a few bits
my old van
mrs old cabby
si me and a mate bought cheap to sell on
gti i bought just to get about in for a few months
my zetec turbo esc cos rep that sadly never got finished due to lack of fundage to see it through...
and finally my current mk5 rs2000, which is regretably up for sale due to not being able to insure my other half on it
i keep telling myself the next mk5 will be a proper escos, but rather than saving for one i just end up buying a 3i/rs2k and wasting my money on it one day il learn...

Sorry for the annoying questions but i really need to sort the rear on mine before i even think about doing the front it already sits like a drag car without the front lowered lol

mk5 escort 1.4
Heres a few of my old mk5 1.4, rs2000 rep. Just had a small dint in the front of the wing where somemone had bumped it and a scratch on the door where somebody had tried to break in, Bonnet and bumper just needed colour bringing up a bit. But apart from that it was a proper tidy solid car. No rust on it anywhere at all was cleanest one ive ever seen and prob one of the best mk5s about. Really regret selling it now but had deal i couldnt turn down.
