Ford Racing Puma #425 (and previous cars) update 26/08/11
Hey everyone,
Ive been a member of this forum for a while but have rarely posted...thought it was about time i shared my Fords with you all!
My first car was a 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.25 LX, but i spent a fortune on it turning it into a full ST replica, including interior, steering wheel, etc.
Next i wanted an FRP, and searched for a good one, but when i found one the owner then changed his mind and decided to keep it, so i went new and bought a MK7 fiesta Zetec S in frozen white, never really intended to buy new but i loved it after a test drive. i then got the mountune kit fitted too among other mountune goodies
and with Jari Matti Latvala at Causeway Coast Ford Fair 2009
after 18 months i then decided to get rid of this so i had no finance to pay when i went to university, and replace it with something cheaper i could drive when i was home. Ironically, i was contacted from a man in belfast, who offered me this in part exchange:
so i finally got my FRP a low mileage example with only 34,700 miles on it so far. I toyed with the idea of selling it on to fund university, but ive had it for a year now and i think im going to hold onto it for a good bit longer
Keith

You've had that FRP a year?
It's just I was interested in buying it at the very end of last year, like the 20th December. Did you have it advertised for sale back then?

Cool. It was certainly the nicest one I could find for sale. I regretted not going for it when I had the chance (god knows why), and you were only directly across the water from me too!

the full mongoose exhaust would also be just a powerflow backbox it was bloody loud though! they could be gmaxx springs that i bought for it, was going to get weitec coilovers for my 18th birthday but the same week a full red ST interior appeared in the auto trader so i got that instead plus some springs just. checked their website there it aint listed but id like to get a nosey at it, Ballymoney to Omagh is abit far but screw it i might for the craic! like to see how much it up for sale for too lol
yep powerflow back box defo yours, it was there at the start of last month i think, give them a ring sure and see if they still have it
it might have been around 3k? cant really remeber

aye i might just do that! i remember i sold it for Ł4200 in January 2009, the fella didnt even take it for a test drive, jumped out of a car which then drove off, looked around it for 20 seconds, handed me the cash, and already had an insurance cover note to drive it home

wee update, car is now back on the road! took the opportunity of the good weather to give it a good wash and fit new cannon mudflaps, really like them look relatively OEM, no drilling and cost me a tenner (y)
