Sold the Audi last week surprisingly easy during these high petrol price times and had already bought this little bad boy! Wanted a convertible for the summer, was about to go for a 6 series vert but had my eye on a few of these. Only wanted black though which is hard to find! Anyway found this on the trader with full AMG spec as well so even luckier!! Has the full AMG factory fitted kit, amg air suspension and alloys. Just needs the AMG exhaust!!! Drives lovely! Probably not a quick as the Audi (low end) but an awesome drive, comfy, handles alright etc etc!! few pics and a couple when I had it stickered up for Le Mans in June!!!!

I really like that Chris... .
For some reason though i really dont like the wheels.....maybe a bigger rear dish would be nice as its quite a wide car???

Yeah the wheels wouldnt have been my choice, they are wider 18's on the back (9.5's) but look small on the car!!

Knowing me I'll only keep it till the end of the year so not going to splash out on alloys!!!!!

And if you do get the AMG exhausts youll either have to cut the bumper to accept the twin pipe set up or find a bumper off an SL55 AMG .

Deano - it is the AMG bumper already mate so exhausts will go straight in

richie- not sure yet mate, tempted pearl white but got a couple of friends cars to do first!!

Looks great, agree that the wheels look a bit small... but really like this shape of SL.

What are the running costs like compared to the S4??

RS Grant - cost wise about the same really, perhaps a little juicer than than Audi!!

Puss2 - yeah Gary lives by Miller & Carters, think he's given the car back to his Dad now (he took over the payments for a while)...... Nice car though!
