I REALLY REALLY like that, fecking lovely mate!

I'm really getting the urge to buy an N/A'd cossie'd Mk1 or Mk2 Escort.

How much would that sort of car fetch if you was to sell it? I mean one that's been fully stripped and refurbed?

Also, do you know of any websites that have info on these sort of motors?

Cheers

Hi, m8
was this the car i saw @ Stanford hall a bit back @ the seoc show? That is the right way to fit four Cibies, with the top ones in and the bottom ones out, this way it doesnt block any light from the headlights(candle in a jam jar, more like). Respect on a top motor.

lovely motor.

seen it in rallye news.....but why only one photo when you could quite easily had the whole car featured, this is exactly what we need in rallye news to make the book worth while.

The arches are group 4 tarmac spec with 8-13 minilites, brakes are2.8 capri fronts and sierra calipers and disks at rear.
Its not got a lot of power at the mo as the head is still standard turbo spec, about 155bhp,enough for a bit of fun

its not the turbo that makes em expensive its any bit with cosworth written on it
what have you done to bottom end of motor? and wots it go like with turbo spec head on? would it keep up with a tuned pinto, sorry to be so nosey but you got me thinking for the next project
cheers paul

Aint that true .The bottom end uses 200 block, high pressure oil pump, cossie crank, rods and shells and cossie nat asp pistons.
It dont go to bad with standard head + cams,as for keeping up with tuned pinto it depends how tuned it was,had mine rolling roaded at 155bhp at fly wheel.
Plenty more to come if i get head sorted

Cheers Mick.
