Id owned auite a few motors over the years, from pug gti's, mk6 rs2000,vti's,172 clio and a uk scooby, then i got the 2 door type r which was a weapon and very sharp, great car to drive and i really enjoyed owning it.
But i sold it last year as was getting engaged so needed to save but i still wanted something that i would be interested in.....the scort ticked all the boxes as it would be cheap to maintain, tune and i could get classic insurance, its never gonna be a point to point weapon like the scoob but ive always had a soft spot for rst's and my brother has had two.....Plus ya cant beat the sound of them when they come on boost.....i think the rst's still drive really nice even as a 20 year old car and it aint a daily driver so i can keep it good!

thanks for all the positive comments lads!....yeah its a solid we motor, i just want to improve on it and get it buffed, clean and paint all the suspension and brakes etc as its already been fully undersealed, id like a new bolster for the driver seat too as the cloth is a bit wrinkly, theres no rips or wear as such but id like it tighter!
parts i have are turbosystems ecu, -31, airtec front mount, samco's, ind kit. it already has a full turbo back s/s exhaust. i was gonna go hybrid T3 and 5th injector and push for over 200 but i cant afford it at the min.
